In September of 2014 Yves Saint Laurent launched Black Opium, the new fragrance announced as a rock n roll interpretation of the classic that should highlight the dark, mysterious side of the YSL brand. Master perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne, in collaboration with Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc, developed the composition. Notes of coffee, present in large quantities, dominate the scent. Additional accords are pink pepper, orange blossom, jasmine, vanilla, patchouli and cedar.

Black Opium fragrance samples available in 1ml, 3ml and 5ml sizes.

LoL, when I ordered this sample I didn't realize it was for a woman. But I sprayed a little on and I like it. I'm a 69 year old single man and the smell makes me feel like I have a lovely lady walking right next to me.

This perfume is sweet, spicy, and a little woody. It smells incredible and lasts a long time too (clings to clothes more than skin tho). Buy it if you want to smell like a fairy!!
