With Greenwich Village, Bond No. 9 brilliantly captures one of New York's most beloved neighborhoods in scent. It is a celebration of individuality and creativity, and the rich heritage of the city's artists and intelligentsia, and the community they created. The result is an oriental vanilla with a touch of light floralcy.

Greenwich Village by Bond No 9 is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women and men. Greenwich Village was launched in 2019. Top notes are cassis, litchi and mandarin orange. Middle notes are peony, water lily and jasmine. Base notes are ambroxan, musk, vanilla, oak moss and praline.

Overhyped

I’ve heard a lot about this scent being “amazing”, and it is interesting, but it smells more like a house fragrance than a perfume imo. Not bad, but certainly didn’t make me ditch all designer scents like I’ve heard it would.

Androgynous in a weird way

This perfume is fresh? Aquatic? At the beginning.. next to juicy fruit gum then it becomes heavy, powdery, vanilla/ woods in a mature way. It’s very complex. I’m not looking at the notes as I write this so sorry the description sucks. Anyway, it smells expensive and high quality because it is, and it’s weirdly androgynous in not a very appealing way. It’s a weird mishmash of stuff. It’s like a loud diva perfume with a Y chromosome. Something very male in its DNA. I can’t get behind this it’s not me. It’s interesting though!

Loved this one

Fresh green scent. Loved this one so much I bought a full bottle. I tried 5 different Bond No 9 decants from this site and Greenwich Village was my favorite one. Note- this one is more unisex than masculine, but that’s the reason I like it.
