GOT IT!

The idea for Blanche is, as the name suggests, built around my perception of the colour white. For the first time I actually made a fragrance for and with a specific person in mind. I wanted to capture her innocent and untainted side, with a fragrance almost transparent in nature. Blanche also represents an appreciation for classic beauty. The fragrance is pure and simple in structure but extreme in character, Ben Gorham, Founder.

Blanche is a fragrance by Byredo introduced in 2009. Just like its name suggests, the perfume is dedicated to white colour. It is airy and simple in its structure, but captures thoughts about a certain person who inspired the creator with its innocence.

The perfume opens with white roses, pink pepper and aldehydes. A heart includes violet, neroli and peony. A base is enriched with blond wood, sandalwood and musk.

Blanche fragrance samples available in 1ml, 3ml and 5ml sizes.

Blanche

I love the smell of Blanche and looked forward to getting this sample. The scent is right but the longevity is wrong. It doesn’t last and, in fact, the smell seems to disappear almost immediately. I ordered another thinking I received a bad batch and it was the same.

Clean Scent

Mold clean scent, but doesn’t last long.

So clean and fresh

A nice clean fresh scent, almost like fresh laundry. Not long lasting.

Pretty scent but not long-lasting

I sprayed my wrists. I liked the scent. I smelled my wrists barely an hour later and could smell NOTHING. Will not buy again.

Literal bug spray

Maybe I got a bad batch, but the smell of bug spray was just overwhelming
