Dior launched this new fragrance Sauvage in 2015. The name originating from the fragrance Eau Sauvage from 1966, although the two don't belong to the same collection. Sauvage is inspired by wild, open spaces, blue sky that covers rocky landscapes, hot under the desert sun.Dior in house perfumer, François Demachy, signed this creation. The fragrance is announced as radically fresh, raw and noble at the same time. The composition is reportedly prevalent with carefully selected natural ingredients. Fresh top notes of Calabria bergamot encounter ambroxan, obtained from precious ambergris, and its woody trail.

There's a reason it's so popular

I've been buying decanters lately and this one was a winner. Really balanced from the start with a slightly sweet but masculine aroma. It's reminiscent (but still original) of CK Obsession for men which was a really big deal back in the day. I usually don't follow trends and prefer unique/slightly edgy scents but this one is a great anytime cologne that gets attention without overpowering.

Amazing smell

I have nothing but amazing reviews for this cologne!! A little goes a long way but the smell is absolutely AMAZING!! I got the 1 ml bottle for Christmas from my wife and I immediately made her order the 5 ml one! She and I both love the light and fresh scent. Not overpowering at all though!

Nice and strong but not too strong, great nighttime wear and women love it
