This smells incredible. Possibly one of my favorites! I may be a little off, but it reminds me of Blue de Chanel, which I also love!

I'd definitely classify this as a fougère scent. I personally loved it. I wish it would last longer, but understand it's a decant so full strength probably isn't there. I would say this is a Fall-Spring scent.

A Viking by Any Other Name

Creed Viking has a spicy, multilayered aroma that is pleasing but not as instantly powerful and alluring as my two favorite colognes--Azzaro Wanted by Night and Acqua di Gio Profumo. Both have been discontinued in recent years, so the remaining stock is selling at a premium to their original prices. Nevertheless, they are bargains compared to the exorbitant cost of any Creed cologne. Viking is no exception. Two professional (I think) reviewers said that it reminds them of Old Spice. I don't agree, but the very thought is disconcerting. Viking's pleasant scent didn't linger as long as I expected it to--maybe a couple hours--and that was disappointing but not unusual for upscale colognes in my experience. I like Viking but not enough to buy more.
